I did the CORESTM course so that I can improve my skills in recognising signs and symptoms of suicide and pass these skills onto other Indigenous People and throughout their Communities so that they can train people up to help prevent further suicides.

I BELIEVE that, if I can save one person, then they TOO can turn their loves around and help SAVE other people.  It’s all about suicide intervention and making people aware of the signs and symptoms of suicide and recognising it early so that help can be sort, Lives will be saved.  I personally have had suicides in my family and not one family member saw it coming. We need to get this message out there as a matter of urgency.  It is time that all Australians stand up and so this 1 Day Course and Make a difference to our lives.
I look forward to working with CORESTM in the future and hopefully we can create partnerships between Indigenous Communities, Service Providers and Government Depts. to implement these strategies in Suicide Intervention and help Eliminate Suicide
